How do I donate books to Smyrna Library?

Answer

The Friends of Smyrna Library are accepting donations of books, audiovisual media, and new magazines (current three years) for sale in their in-library bookstore and for their spring and fall book sales.

Please bring no more than two (2) boxes of donations per visit to the front desk at Smyrna Public Library. The front desk staff can give you a tax receipt if you would like one for your records.

If you are donating a copy of a book you wrote, please drop it off at the Circulation Desk on the first floor with a note to the Director, Mary Moore. The book will be cataloged for the collection if it fits with the library's collection and if a MARC record can be located. Donations not added to the collection will be used as reading incentive prizes or sold in the Friends book sales.

Thank you for supporting Smyrna Public Library!
