Yes, we'd love to! Smyrna Library offers reading suggestions in various ways. (Librarians call this service Reader's Advisory.)
Make a direct request from staff. When you visit Smyrna Library, you are welcome to ask any of our public services staff members to assist with reading suggestions.
Submit a request using the online form. When completing this short form, include some information about the type of books and authors you like to read. The Adult Services staff will email you back with suggestions.
Sign up for one or more of Smyrna Library's "NextReads" newsletters. The library provides monthly and bi-monthly newsletters featuring new and old titles in the collection based on a specific genre (e.g., mystery, biography, children's lit).
Use the NoveList reader's advisory database. NoveList is an online tool for generating reading suggestions.
